Visitation set for three of four victims killed in Houma stabbing

HOUMA, La. (WVUE) - Visitation begins Sunday and continues Monday for three of the four people killed in a stabbing in Houma last weekend, according to family. Family members said Verna Mae Verdin was a grandmother who was nearing retirement from Walmart. Letha Verret was Verdin’s adult daughter and a mother of three young children. Paul Verret was Verdin’s adult son with special needs. Their funeral is Monday at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma.
