VSU Lockdown: Multiple suspects wanted after 5 injured in shooting outside dorms
ETTRICK, Va. — Five people were injured, one critically, in a shooting outside Virginia State University dormitories that prompted a campus-wide lockdown for hours early Saturday morning, according to authorities. Officers were called to the 3300 block of Boisseau Street at 1:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting, according to Lt. James Lamb with Chesterfield Police. When police arrived, they found five people suffering from gunshot wounds outside VSU dorms. Virginia State University Police, ATF, and the Hanover County Sheriff's Office are assisting with the ongoing investigation," Lamb said.
