The cargo jet was arriving at the Florida airport around 2 p.m. Eastern from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when it barreled off the runway, continued traveling for roughly 1,300 feet, crossed a road where it hit two vehicles and caught fire. The cargo plane hit a Ford van owned by a professional cleaning company for airlines at the airport, said Jennifer Homendy, chairwoman of the National Transportation Safety Board, at a Monday news conference.
