TOMS RIVER, New Jersey (WABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a victim was shot in the head and killed in the parking lot of a Wawa in Toms River on Friday morning. It happened at the convenience store located off Route 37 and Garfield Avenue around 7:20 a.m. The victim was rushed to the hospital by helicopter but did not survive. Authorities say they are trying to track down what they believe may be a black Acura with front-end damage.
