‘We’re much more prepared’: Alex Jensen discusses his rebuilding effort at Utah at Big 12 media days

Source Scout · Deseret News reports: KANSAS CITY — Alex Jensen doesn’t shy away from Utah being picked to finish last in the Big 12 basketball preseason poll. In fact, it’s something he speaks openly about with his team. “It’s easy motivation, because it’s not fake, it’s real,” Jensen said Tuesday at Big 12 basketball media days in Kansas City. “Like, this is where we’re picked, and it should be motivation for (the players). It is for me.” Jensen’s first season at his alma mater was equal parts “struggle” and “learning experience,” as the Runnin’ Utes finished 10-22 and 2-16 in conference play.
