What we know about the deadly flooding on the Nepal-Tibet border

Nearly 100 people are dead, and many more are missing, after an avalanche of ice and rock blocked a Himalayan river valley, triggering massive flash floods in Nepal. AILSA CHANG, HOST: An avalanche of mud, rock and ice blocked a Himalayan river valley early Wednesday. That caused flooding that has killed more than 95 people in Nepal, a number that's likely to rise. Meanwhile, hundreds remain unaccounted for across Nepal and Tibet. NPR's Diaa Hadid reports.
