The woman killed in a “random and unprovoked” Times Square stabbing on Monday was a lawyer and Bank of America employee who worked about a block from where she was attacked, according to multiple outlets. The New York Police Department identified the victim as 32-year-old Erin Piacenti. Police said she was stabbed in the abdomen after the suspect approached her on Seventh Avenue in Times Square. She later died at a hospital. “We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our colleague,” Bank of America said in a statement to The Associated Press. Piacenti earned her law degree from Fordham Law School in 2021.
