Let’s discuss how these storms are named and how it’s different from the Atlantic Basin. The Eastern Pacific is treated exactly the same as the Atlantic Basin. There’s a list… we go down the list… storms are retired and replaced with a new name by the World Meteorological Organization if there is exceptional death and/or destruction.
