Wichita attorney weighs legal fallout following basketball brawl at WSU

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Multiple days after a brawl broke out between Wichita State and KU alumni teams during a basketball game at Charles Koch Arena, the legal consequences of that night remain unresolved. AfterShocks player Marcus Keene has been suspended indefinitely from TBT activities following Monday night’s fight, but no charges have been filed. The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office said that it has not yet been presented a case by university police, who are leading the investigation. A woman with the JHX Hoops staff suffered injuries to her face, including a broken nose. “When other people are hurt because of that behavior, well, that is a serious situation,” O’Hara said.
