Wickliffe finance director to split time with Eastlake under new deal

Source Scout · Cleveland.com / The Plain Dealer reports: WICKLIFFE, Ohio -- Wickliffe City Council approved changing its finance director position to part time Monday, allowing Michael Matas to split his work between Wickliffe and Eastlake in an arrangement city officials say will reduce costs for both communities. The ordinance sets Matas’ annual compensation in Wickliffe at $85,000, including dental and life insurance. It authorizes him to share his duties with Eastlake, with his work schedule, hours and other compensation details to be established in a memorandum of understanding between the cities and approved by council.
