Wilmington records sixth shooting victim since Sunday
WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A 47-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition after a shooting in Wilmington on Thursday, the latest in a series of shootings that have left six people wounded in the city since Sunday. The most recent shooting happened just before 1 p.m. in the 1700 block of West Third Street. Wilmington police said the victim, a 47-year-old man, was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition. Police said the investigation remains active. The shooting marked the fourth time this week that Wilmington police have responded to reports of gunfire.
