WASHINGTON — WBNA star Brittney Griner has filed for divorce from longtime partner Cherelle Griner. The 35-year-old filed for divorce in Fulton County, Georgia, on Thursday, according to court records obtained by 11Alive . The couple has been married since June 2018 and have been separated since July 24, 2026, according to the court documents. It was previously reported that Griner and Cherelle were married in 2019. Griner, who filed the petition, said the marriage was "irretrievably broken." Griner and Cherelle have one son together.
