Greensboro Police Chief Kamran Afzal said he reviewed body-worn camera footage of the incident before sharing updates with media on Sunday evening. According to police, dispatchers received a call around 4:21 p.m. reporting a man had pulled a gun on a woman in the 200 block of Spring Garden Street. The first officer to arrive heard gunshots, found the woman with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound and saw a man with a handgun running east on Smothers Place, according to police.
