Woman identified after fatal police shooting in Middle River

Residents told WBAL-TV 11 News that the encounter occurred near the gate of a decommissioned power plant where Carroll Island Road dead-ends. "I heard (a) shot around 6:30, just one shot," Michael Lloyd, a resident, told WBAL-TV 11 News on Thursday. "Then, after that, I saw maybe seven, eight Baltimore County police cars, a fire engine, an ambulance, and (a) state trooper car." Police said officers recovered a gun from the woman's car.
