Woman killed in early-morning shooting in Baltimore’s Barclay neighborhood

A woman died after being shot in Baltimore's Barclay neighborhood early Friday morning, officials reported. On September 11 around 1:16 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting victim located at the 2300 block of Hunter Street. Once on the scene, police found a woman suffering from gunshot wounds in the 2400 block of North Calvert Street. Medics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene, officials said. Forensics investigators found evidence of volatility in a network of alleyways between North Calvert Street and Guilford Avenue.
