Woman killed in Times Square knife attack was from N.J., cops say

The 32-year-old woman stabbed to death in a random knife attack Monday afternoon in New York City’s Times Square was from Morris County. The NYPD on Tuesday identified the victim as Erin Piacenti, of Chester. She died at an area hospital after being stabbed in the abdomen. The 49-year-old assailant — identified as Pamela Cisneros, of Queens, New York — was shot to death by police after stabbing Piacenti and a 68-year-old man. The man is in stable condition, police said Tuesday.
