Syracuse, N.Y. — A woman was shot in both legs inside a Syracuse home Friday evening, police said. Around 5:21 p.m., police responded to 114 Fage Ave. for a report of a shooting with injuries, according to Onondaga County 911 Center dispatches. When officers arrived, they found the woman inside the home with gunshot wounds to her legs, said Sgt. Thomas Blake, a spokesperson for the Syracuse police. Officers placed a tourniquet on the woman and provided first aid before an AMR ambulance arrived and took her to Upstate University Hospital, dispatches said.
