Woman shot, killed in Tigard apartment parking lot identified

TIGARD, Ore. — Police have identified the woman who was shot and killed at an apartment complex last Friday. Around 5:56 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Southwest Washington Square Road in Tigard, where witnesses reported seeing a man shoot a woman in the parking lot before leaving the scene. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but the woman, identified as 32-year-old Savannah Gideon, died. The suspect, 42-year-old Christopher Fisher, was found nearby and arrested, then booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of second-degree murder and unlawful possession of a firearm. The Tigard Police Department said that Gideon’s family is asking for privacy at this time.
