Woman wounded in shooting on Mobile’s Baltimore Street
MOBILE, Ala. ( WALA ) - A woman was injured Friday night after being struck by gunfire on Baltimore Street, according to the Mobile Police Department. Officers responded at approximately 10:48 p.m. to the 1000 block of Baltimore Street following reports of a shooting. Police determined a woman had sustained a minor gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in a personal vehicle, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Authorities have classified the case as first-degree assault.
